With wild skies above him and 1,500 feet of vertical drop below, Cameron Zink persevered over the obstacles to become the 2010 Red Bull Rampage champion. Twenty-one of mountain biking’s best riders threw down all they had while battling wild weather, but when the skies cleared it was Zink who took home the trifecta — the contest win, Utah Sports Commission Best Trick Award and the Freeride Mountain Bike (FMB) World Tour season overall title.

Grand Funk Railroad - Inside Looking Out 1969

Grand Funk Railroad performing “Inside Looking Out” live from 1969. This clip was shot at “The Show” WITF-TV in Hershey, Pa. November 1969. Mark & Don were 20 & Mel 18 years old. This clip is timeless. I’ve had hundreds of personal messages from people of 4 generations worldwide that are in awe of this powerful performance. (Folks from 11 to 83 years of age.) I’ve been told it’s early “METAL”, to the original “GRUNGE”, to the real beginning of “PUNK”, to the first “GARAGE BAND”, to pure “TRIBAL ROCK”, to “INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH ROCK.” One thing’s for sure, it is powerful, passionate, singular, & unique. Mark, Don, & Mel changed music forever with 10 minute Power Songs like this one. This is the ULTIMATE POWER TRIO. Grand Funk Railroad was truly a “Performance Vehicle”. What you heard on the albums could be duplicated 100% on their live performances. Many would say it’s impossible for a 3 piece band to do this live. See the impossible. Once you start watching it, it’s hard not to finish it. This is the most popular GFRxR video on the Web. Bang Bang Eche - Nikee (HD)

Official music video for Bang bang Eche’s song Nikee.

The goal of this music video was to make a statement about the current resurgence in mainstream media of low-resolution 8-bit style graphics (common in the 1980s) amidst a world of high-definition video. The black and white theme is a nod to the punk rock feel of the music, with graphics reminiscent of 80s-era raster text (inspired by the synthesizer, ubiquitous in 80s New Wave music). Both aliased and anti-aliased text contrast low-res vs. high-res computer graphics, and they combine to transform fonts into living characters. Japanese emoticons play a big role, as they echo the American fascination with Japanese culture that was perhaps at its peak in the 80s. Japanese emoticons are generally more expressive than the ones we’re used to in the U.S., due to the number of characters used. Finally, hi-def video clips were processed through software to create a two-tone “ASCII” text in motion.
